I wrote an entry about a week and a half ago that got erased when my dad turned off the network computer and as I hit "send", the whole thing got forgotten by time as we know it. So I boycotted (against who? for what cause?) the past two weeks in writing another one. But I've got this thing, so I gotta write. Right?
The other entry I wrote was about going to Circuit City and being torn in my alliances between the shaggy haired, awkward salesman (Jamie) and two gay boys in wandered in our aisle. Accidentally, the words "too girly" (in reference to an ipod nano case) came out of my mouth as I made eye contact with the boys. These things happen in life.
I'm about to set off on a country wide road trip with fellow former volunteer Kelly Belly for the next week and a half. We're winding our way through Chicago, Missouri, all the way out to Oregon, up to Seattle, and squatting on a pier to admire the land that our ancestors hath wrought for us. Wish us much luck along the way--there will be a travelogue, ala chaosmulan, in the coming weeks.
